Joseph & Emma Taylor Memorial Scholarship Fund

Captain Joseph and Mrs. Emma Taylor, of Woody Point, Bonne Bay believed in the value of family, community and education.  Although their lives were cut short, their impact on family and community was immense.  This scholarship, awarded annually to a student of Bonne Bay Academy, was established by their children as a legacy to them and their belief in the importance of a post-secondary education.  The scholarship is awarded to the student that achieves the highest academic average and is continuing studies in a post-secondary institution.
