Elizabeth Dawe
Elizabeth (Liz) Dawe has considerable experience working, and volunteering, in the non-profit and charitable sectors with organizations such as Newfoundland and Labrador Public Sector Pensioners’ Association (NLPSPA), Girl Guides of Canada, Friends of Salmonier Nature Park, Newfoundland and Labrador Irish Connections Inc. (NLIC), Central Avalon Ground Search and Rescue (CAGSAR) and Becoming an Outdoors Woman (BOW). Liz brings to CFNL a unique set of managerial, administrative and people skills. Communicating with the public and key stakeholders is an essential asset to her position.
In her spare time, she enjoys creating by painting water colours, making jewelry or carving. She also enjoys and appreciates the healing properties of nature and connects with its energy in her garden, in spite of Newfoundland’s weather challenges!
While originally from Dildo, Trinity Bay, Liz along with her husband, Autry and various canine and feline friends, has called Conception Bay South home since 1985.
