Veronica Kennedy is a forward-thinking communications and brand marketing leader. She brings a twenty-plus year track record in development and execution of strategies that deliver return on investment and strengthen stakeholder and community engagement. In her current role, Veronica leads corporate communications for Suncor's global Exploration and Production and In Situ business. Her portfolio involves diverse internal and external communications for Suncor’s offshore energy assets in Eastern Canada, including as Operator of Terra Nova, and as a joint venture partner in the Hibernia, White Rose and Hebron projects as well as assets located in Alberta, Canada.

Veronica holds a Bachelor of Public Relations from Mount Saint Vincent University and is currently completing her Master of Public Relations. Veronica lived in Calgary, Alberta for almost 15 years before returning to Newfoundland and Labrador in 2019 to raise her family. Originally from Marystown, she believes strongly in the collective opportunity – and responsibility – to help build a stronger community and future for all areas of our province.
