A Story of Kindness from Grand Falls-Windsor | Nominated by Lionel Kelland Hospice

Marit has always felt that she gets more from volunteering than she gives. For her and her husband, John, community service has just been a part of who they are.

Since joining the Lionel Kelland Hospice as a volunteer in 2025, Marit has volunteered more than 250 hours. She also started Nellbelle Earrings, handcrafting earrings and donating every dollar raised to Lionel Kelland Hospice.

Her husband John has been right alongside her. Two veterans, making their home and giving back to their community. Now Best Kind Giving is giving them a hand with some home renovations of their own.
