The “Andrea Powell Memorial Scholarship” was established to honour the memory of Ryan and Jeremy Kelly’s mother, who passed away suddenly on Sept 5th, 2017.  Andrea shone a light on everyone who knew her.  Her giving heart, contagious smile and love of the small things in life is what made her special.  She is also a true “Superhero”, who saved the life of another through organ donation.  Her kindness, love and congenial personality will never be forgotten by her family and friends.

 

This scholarship will be awarded to a female student in both Ryan and Jeremy’s graduating classes from Holy Trinity High School, in Torbay NL.  The first scholarship will be awarded in 2024; a second scholarship will be awarded in 2028.
