Anna is honoured to serve the communities of Newfoundland and Labrador as a board member of CFNL.  As a CFA (come from away), Anna welcomes the opportunity to learn about our communities while sharing her significant Canadian and international non-profit and grantmaking experience. As VP of the YMCA Atlantic Regional Development Centre, Anna provides support to and facilitates collaboration between the 11 YMCAs serving communities in Atlantic Canada. Prior to joining the YMCA in 2021, Anna was Director of Operations at one of Canada's largest family foundations, the Weston Family Foundation. Anna is originally from the UK, where she worked in social care, public policy and grantmaking. Anna moved to Bonavista, Newfoundland and Labrador in 2023, having fallen for the region on a trip to get to know her new country. Through her employment and volunteerism, Anna has committed to empowering the diverse individuals who comprise our communities.
