Charles is owner of TOTAL Insulation & Coatings Limited and TOTAL InSolutions Limited - two companies involved in the residential and commercial construction industry. A Certified Professional Accountant, Charles held various financial and senior management roles including Controller, Regional Director of Finance, Publisher, and provincial Group Publisher over a 20-year career with The Telegram. He is an active volunteer, currently serving on the Local Council of The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award and co-founder of the NL Volunteer Hall of Fame. An active Rotarian, Charles co-chairs the Rotary Club of St. John's Northwest Annual Gala and has served on district committees and in local executive positions. He has also served as a coach and at the executive level with various community and sports associations.
