
Paul McDonald KC, TEP
Paul McDonald is Counsel with the law firm Tupman & Bloom LLP, where his practice involves estate planning, estate administration and estate litigation. He is an Honourary Bencher and former President of the Law Society of Newfoundland and Labrador and past President of the Newfoundland and Labrador Branch of Canadian Bar Association. He has worked with numerous community organizations, including as Adjunct Professor (Medical Humanities) in the Faculty of Medicine of Memorial University, Director and Chair of the Historic Sites Association of Newfoundland and Labrador, Director and Chair of Kids Eat Smart Foundation of Newfoundland and Labrador and Director of the Bannerman Park Foundation. Paul is currently Past Chair of the Newfoundland Symphony Orchestra and a Director of Bonavista Biennale Inc.
Paul is a member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners, and his extensive legal experience and contributions to the legal profession have been recognized by his appointment as King’s Counsel. Paul was conferred the Distinguished Public Service award by Canadian Bar Association for outstanding contributions to community service.
